Sectors

ABT has been employing Classroom Response Systems ("CRS" aka "Audience Response Systems", "ARS", "keypads" or "clickers") for over twenty years in business training and education. We are therefore able to:
  • provide keypad-based models and simulations for business education and training
  • create bespoke exercises and models according to the educator's needs
  • provide advice and support in ARS selection, adoption and deployment
  • supply hardware from various suppliers

ABT focuses on three core sectors;

Education

Training

Consulting

The business education sector is faced with ever-increasing competition and with every-higher student expectations in both business and executive education. Successful adoption of clickers increases student engagement, derives the educational benefits from "active" and "experiential" learning, and repeatedly receives high rankings in student feedback surveys. ABT has deployed clickers for in-class opinion gathering, stimulating debate, structuring case study usage and for in-class simulations in leading Business Schools such as London Business School, Said Business School, Darden School of Business and the Vlerick Leuven Gent Management School.

Business trainers often face greater challenges in engaging their audiences and in transferring knowledge, than do the business schools. Keyads are an ideal technology to engage participants. With low barriers to user adoption, they are a technology accessible to all employees. Deployed to individuals or groups, used anonymously or attributably, clickers can be used to require and encourage all participants to express opinions and engage in the education process. ABT has also used its simulations very successfully to break down barriers and to improve learning outcomes, depth and retention.

Clients expect to see rapid and accurate results from management consultants, but as external agents, consultants can find it hard to illicit accurate information or opinions on which to base their analysis. Keypads can be deployed in a number of ways, including unattributably, to gather opinions and data, as well as to stimulate debate. ABT has also had great success using it's simulations with change and continuous improvement initiatives. The simulations can be tailored to specific change or education objectives and may be licensed and co-branded for delivery by third parties.
